Though several Windows Phone 8 handhelds have seen daylight in numerous countries across the world a while ago, availability for some of these devices in the UK has been spotty at best. Vodafone, the nation’s number three carrier, has been unable to sell even one WP8 smartphone, but that’s all set to change soon enough.
V will be stocking no less than four smartphones with Windows 8 starting in the “early stages of 2013”. The HTC Windows Phone 8S, 8X, as well as the Nokia Lumia 820 have been confirmed to come to the carrier some time ago, whereas the Lumia 920 is joining the list today.
Pricing details are still scarce, as are exact and official ETAs, but one thing is clear – the Lumia 920 will no longer be an EE exclusive device in Great Britain soon enough. The same thing should happen in the States too, where the 4.5-incher is currently being sold only by AT&T, though the network’s exclusivity is set to run for another four months.
