One of the most significant figures in the science fiction world, writer Arthur C. Clarke has been digitized. Thirty-five titles by Clarke, including his most celebrated ‘2001: A Space Odyssey,’ will be released in e-book format for the first time in the U.S. The availability comes with an announcement made by independent e-book company RosettaBooks.

His novel ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ was famously made into a movie classic by Stanley Kubrick in 1968. The book’s sequel, ‘2010: Odyssey Two’ was also made into a film but failed to match the magnificence of it’s predecessor. Other famous works made available for your e-readers or other e-devices are his ‘Dolphin Island,’ ‘The Sands of Mars’ and ‘Death and the Senator.’
Arthur C. Clarke died at age 90 in 2008 at his home in Sri Lanka. Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II and awarded Sri Lanka’s Sri Lankabhimanya, Clarke will forever be reveled as an incredible thinker, writer and overall contributor to humanity.
