Apple’s iPad mini features a 7.85-inch screen with a 1024 by 768 resolution. It doesn’t have all of the goodies that the full-fledged iPad does but it surely is dominating in the consumer-tablet market. Apple has released a new TV Ad involving a girl singing and FaceTiming “I’ll be Home for Christmas” to another recipient, presumably her grandfather. Watching the commercial, viewers can easily identify the difference between the iPad mini and iPad in terms of screen real estate.
In the past, Apple has had tendency to release some kind of festive-themed commercial around this time of year. What better way to portray their holiday spirit than through a song?
The iPad mini is predicted to sell 12 million units by the end of 2012. The form factor with its baseline-specs to an average consumer makes it the leading, if not dominating tablet in the 7-8 inch tablet market.
