Nokia has confirmed that they’re working on a tablet that can run Windows RT. Sources have stated that this tablet will have a 10.1-inch screen, HDMI ports and USB ports. Nokia’s tablet will also include cellular connectivity and it has been stated that AT&T will be the first one to have it in stock.
One interesting aspect of the project is that Nokia will equip their tablet with a battery-enabled protective cover. This cover offers a slew of features that really single out the Microsoft Type cover and Touch cover. To start, it will charge your tablet once it reaches a low battery level, it will include a kickstand to prop up your tablet on an angle and also supply two USB ports — although it has not been confirmed if these particular USB ports will be USB 3.0 or USB 2.0.
Sources have revealed that the company will be producing a small number of these tablets at first and that they will feature the new ARM chip. This tablet is most likely to be debuted at Mobile World Congress in February of 2013.
