Samsung Adds Chronos and Ultra to its Series 7 Computer Lineup

Samsung really wants to get ahead of the pack in terms of announcing new products that it will display during CES 2013 happening next week. Samsung has just unveiled two additional computers to its series 7 lineup and these are the Series 7 Chronos and Series 7 Ultra. Let’s take a quick look at what these two new Samsung computers have to offer.

The Samsung Series 7 Ultra is a slim ultra book featuring a 13.3-inch display. Powered by an Intel Core i7/i5 ULV, this ultra book can take up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD. It has a full HD screen resolution (1920×1080) and weighs only 3.2 lbs. Samsung also plans to release another model of this device with touchscreen and option for 4G LTE connectivity.

The Samsung Series 7 Chronos on the other hand is a 15.6-inch laptop with multi-touch screen, 2.5GHz Intel Core i7 processor, AMD Radeon HD 8870M GPU, 4GB/8GB of RAM which can be maxed out up to 16GB and 1TB of HDD. This laptop comes a bit on the heavier side with its 5.8 lbs weight, thanks to its full aluminum body. This baby has a battery pack that can lasts you up to 11 hours and is said to be wake up in as little as two seconds with 12 seconds booting time.

There is no word yet on when these two products are going to be made available — even their prices have yet to be announced. But if you’re attending CES 2013, be sure to drop by the Samsung booth to get a glimpse of how these two Series 7 machines look and feel.
