That fancy Android-powered camera won’t be the only thing Polaroid has to show at CES 2013. The company will also show off the new Polaroid kids tablet during the show. If you won’t be at the show to see this tablet next week, you’ll be able to find it at Kohl’s stores this month. You can also purchase the tablet right now from Polaroid’s website for $149.99.

The Polaroid kids tablet runs a highly customized version of Android 4.0. Instead of including the typical Google apps (which aren’t kid-friendly anyway), this tablet comes pre-loaded with applications such as Kids Cam, Kids Vids and Music Studio. Downloading free apps can be done from the included App Shop. Other included goodies include interactive books from Dr. Seuss and Nook for Android.

Specs tend to not matter in products that are specifically for children, be we’re compelled to go over them anyway. The Polaroid kids tablet has a 7-inch 800×480 widescreen display, 512MB of RAM, a 1.0GHz Cortex-A8 processor, 8GB of expandable storage and a 2-megapixel rear camera. The tablet is also protected by bumpers on every side.
