What’s your net worth on the internet? Well firstly, what is net worth on the internet? The folks over at PeekYou have created a method of measuring such and they’ve compiled a list of the top PeekScores of CEOs at social media companies that we all love.
Although you may not be completely familiar with these important people, you probably use their service in your everyday life. The list, not entirely shocking is as followed:
The ‘people search experts’ do not limit their database to just famous individuals. Using an algorithm to create your personal PeekScore, the service considers your presence on the internet by means of (though not limited to) your blogging history, participation in social networks, the number of your friends, followers or readers, the amount of web content you create and your prominence in the news. PeekYou bases these factors off of a ten-point scale and the closer to the top, the higher your PeekScore will be.
Another shock hit me when I discovered my embarrassingly low PeekScore. What’s yours?
