With Samsung’s Galaxy S4 most likely to roll out this spring, the most anticipated smartphone of the first few months of 2013 is HTC’s next flagship, codenamed M7. We’ve had several leaks pinpointing key specs of this upcoming 1080p “beast” back in December and now we can almost say that the puzzle is nearly complete.
Courtesy of a new report from the reputable folks from HTCSource, we now “know” that the M7 will be rocking a somewhat similar design to that of the Droid DNA, only without the red highlights.
Instead, the new high-ender will sport an all-black shell built from the same premium materials as the DNA and a “very nice looking beveled edge along the screen.” Another detail revealed by this new rumor refers to the software, which will combine Jelly Bean butter (Android 4.1 or 4.2) and a new version of HTC’s Sense UI, most likely to be dubbed Sense 5.0.
Finally, the M7’s ETA is now almost set in stone for the first fiscal quarter of 2013, meaning that the phone will almost certainly make a debut at CES next week.
