Despite the advances in digital, well, everything, much of our personal and business lives are still full of physical-format information and paper. Canon U.S.A., a leader in digital imaging solutions, has known this and just last week they announced a new addition to its Scan-tini lineup.
Canon’s new imageFORMULA P-208 Scan-tini is a compact yet powerful personal scanner for business or personal use. It can handle a variety of documents such as receipts, business cards, photographs, bills, and contracts. The Canon P-208 can also scan both sides of a document at the same time.
With the optional WU10 Wireless Adapter & Battery Pack, the P-208 can send scanned files wirelessly to a variety of devices and operating systems, including PC and Mac. You can also send to smartphones and tablets with the free Canon CaptureOnTouch mobile app.
The Canon P-208 Scan-tini measures only 2 inches wide, so we’re talking about an ultra-portable piece of equipment that is great for an office as well as on-the-go. Its powered by USB so there is no worry about having extra cables, and its easy Plug-and Scan set-up means you don’t need to install any drivers or applications. The Canon Scan-tini is set to be available by the end of this month at an estimated retail price of $229.
