After a very quiet CES showing (some might say even suspiciously quiet), Samsung is thought to be preparing a bunch of surprises for next month’s MWC event. We’ve already told you plenty of things about the Galaxy S4, as well as the Note 3, but a couple of tabs might see daylight as well.
The first, a GNote 8.0, was leaked some 24 hours ago, while the second is going to probably be a follow-up to the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. That was itself a rehash of another slate, the first-gen Galaxy Tab 7.0, but it seems the third member of the family could really up the hardware ante.
According to a rumor picked up by Sam Mobile, the next 7-incher in the GTab line will sport a Full HD panel. The 2012 Galaxy Tab 7.0 only came with a run-of-the-mill 1,024 x 600 pix res display, so seeing that boosted to 1080p sounds just awesome.
Unfortunately, no other details are currently known about this alleged new 7-incher, but be sure to check back to us soon. After all, MWC is getting closer, so all mysteries are to be shattered any day now.
