Logitech Lets You Control Calls Through the Keyboard

Logitech is pushing towards unified communications, which is the combining of phone calls, instant messaging, desktop sharing, and video conferencing into a single software platform. They are looking to transform how people connect with each other at work, and the Logitech K725-C keyboard is one of the products they recently announced. The Logitech K725-C is designed for the Cisco Jabber UC platform, has nine call control keys, and an LCD screen on the keyboard to display Caller ID for incoming calls.

The Logitech K725-C turns into the user’s phone dial pad and communications control center whenever they sign into Cisco Jabber. Deskphones are typically assigned to a specific number, so the Logitech K725-C is ideal for “hot desking” work areas, where employees don’t have a personal desk or cubicle. The K725-C makes the best use of space in any location where space is limited, thus making it easy for users to stay productive without the need of a traditional desk phone.

The keyboard has illuminated keys to display call and video status and dedicated keys to control all the voice and video commands right at your fingertips.
