It’s not easy to keep up with all the rumors floating around on HTC’s upcoming M7 flagship, but if the latest story spilled online is correct, we won’t have to worry about that soon. According to a mysterious tweet from an Italian that’s supposedly “in the know”, the Android-based device will be unveiled on February 19.
That’s less than a month away and it’s also before MWC 2013, which we always guessed was the most likely host for M7’s debut. But instead it seems HTC is really keen on making an impression with this new spearhead, so why share the spotlight with all the other OEMs that’ll have new devices to show off in Barcelona?
HTC will probably set M7’s dedicated press event in rainy London, which we guess it’s another detail that proves the company’s trust in the new gadget.
This new report almost completes the M7 puzzle, as almost everything else about it has been “revealed” before. We (think we) know the phone will be coming with a 4.7-inch Full HD panel, a 1.7 GHz quad-core S4 Pro CPU, 2 GB of RAM and Android 4.1. The ETA could be March, with Verizon, AT&T and Sprint most likely to sell the big guy in the States.
