Although Samsung’s absence from this month’s MWC seems like a certainty, that doesn’t mean the “Galaxy” will be missing out on some new “stars” over the coming weeks. In fact, we’re positive it’s going to be the other way around and we’ll be seeing a bunch of new Sammy gadgets unveiled by the end of February.
Six (!) of these have been leaked courtesy of GLBenchmark’s database, and, while they’re not official yet, they already have a few specs attached to their names. The most exciting device is by far the Galaxy Fonblet 5.8, yet another sized-up handheld with a 5.8-inch 960 x 540 pix res display, a 1.2 GHz dual-core CPU and Android 4.1
Up next we have four entry-level phones with pretty run-of-the-mill features, but also Jelly Bean “butter” all-around. The Galaxy Pocket 2 and Star will sport 320 x 240 pix res screens, while the Young and Frame will come with 480 x 320 panels. The last two will be powered by 1 GHz processors, the Pocket 2 will come with a 850 MHz SoC, while Star’s CPU is a mysterious one.
Mysterious is also the last of today’s six leaked Samsung devices, being the only one whose market name is unknown. It’s also unclear if the GT-B9150 is going to be a phone or tablet, but we do know it’ll come with a 1.7 GHz Exynos 5250 CPU, a full HD screen and Android 4.2.1.
