It might not sport a Full-HD panel and it might be a little too big for some folks, but darn, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 looks good. Besides the S Pen support that’s all the rage these days, the 5.5-incher comes with a quad-core 1.6 GHz Exynos CPU, 2 GB of RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a 3,100 mAh battery.

In other words, it’s almost perfect. Or it was, because right now it looks downright flawless. That’s because Amazon Wireless, after discounting the HTC One X+, has decided to do us another huge favor and slash Note 2’s price as well.

The retailer has the on-contract titanium grey “phablet” on Verizon available for $149.99, which is a full 150 bucks off the list price. That’s only for new customers however, while existing ones wanting an upgrade or the adding of a line to a family account should expect to pay $200.

$200 is also the price of the marble white Note 2 via Amazon, both for new and existing customers. Folks, I think it’s time to get a new phone!
