Even though Android and iOS are the current top dogs in the smartphone world, BlackBerry’s rebranding and launch of a new OS look like a big deal for many tech enthusiasts. But we can’t know for sure if BB can regain at least some of its lost foothold until seeing the new devices in the flesh, which is why we’re happy to finally hear about an exact release date
According to a leaked internal T-Mobile doc, the carrier will start selling the BlackBerry Z10 on March 27. The date sounds about right and doesn’t come as a shocker, but will there be any T-Mo competitor to jump the gun? That remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, we have to note a couple of other imminent Magenta releases, including Samsung Galaxy Exhibit’s. The freshly unveiled GS3 Mini double might actually go head to head with the Z10, being supposedly scheduled to land on the exact same day as the new BlackBerry.
The Galaxy S3 LTE is also thought to be heading to T-Mobile, but an exact launch date is not yet set in stone. It’ll either be March 27 or April 3 for the new GS3, although our money is on the second variant.
