Superfast Battery Charger on IndieGoGo

The people at Potential Difference Inc. have plans to build a better battery charger and have launched an indiegogo fund-raising campaign to support the effort.

The company claims the device will be able to charge lithium ion batteries to full power within a ludicrous 16 minutes.  Here’s a shoestring-budget video from Elliott Small, the eccentric founder of Potential Difference, pitching the charger:

Side note: anyone else get a kick out of the biographical bit from Mr. Small as much as I did?  I think my favorite part is his completely superfluous mention of having performed surgery on mice at age 13.
