Anticipated since the launch of Windows 8, popular music streaming app Spotify is now available for Windows 8 phones at the Windows Phone store, so owners of Samsung, Nokia, HTC and other Windows 8 phones can get their respective grooves on.

It’s been released as a beta for now, with a free 30-day trial of Spotify available for those who haven’t used the service before. The fact that it’s in beta doesn’t seem to have hindered it’s functionality, as you’re still able to create and share playlists, browse your friends’ playlists, and listen to your playlists offline as normal. Scrobbling support does seem to be missing, unfortunately.
