PayPal has been offering their users a tour of the forthcoming redesign of the graphic interface for the site.  The redesign will focus on cleaning up the look on account pages by putting the current balance and bank accounts on file in a more readily visible spot beneath users’ photos.

There will also be a new notifications pane that will alert customers when Bill Me Later statements are due and coupon offers are close to expiring.  Shortcuts for main tasks like sending and requesting money and the like will now be on the right side of the screen to minimize unnecessary navigation.

Definitely looks like it’ll be a more functional GUI than the one currently employed.  The Verge asked PayPal for comment as to when this redesign would be put into effect, but so far they’ve yet to receive a reply.
