It isn’t easy keeping track of all the various LG smartphones released in the last couple of years, but if today’s story proves to be accurate, things are going to get even more tangled soon. The 2012 Optimus L3, L5 and L7 are to get follow-ups at this month’s MWC, said to be “aptly” named L3 II, L5 II and L7 II.
As easy as it’ll be to lose these new fellows in the crowd, the more that you’ll have to remember at least one of them. The L7 II is rumored to come with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on board, a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 pix res display, a 1 GHz dual-core CPU, an 8 MP rear-facing snapper and a massive 2,460 mAh battery.
That would be quite the upgrade over the original L7, which is not what we can say about the L3 II and L5 II. The first will feature a 320 x 240 pix res 3.2-inch display and a 5 MP camera, while the second is expected to pack a 4-inch screen, a single-core 1 GHz chipset and Android 4.1. All three are to come in both single and dual SIM variants. Anyone excited?
