Remember yesterday’s report concerning the leaked specs of LG’s Optimus L3 II, L5 II and L7 II? And remember how certain we were that the trio will get an intro at MWC later this month? Well, as it turns out, we were dead wrong.
Either that or LG decided to make the three official after their spec sheets leaked. In any case, the new Optimus L family is now confirmed and it looks as underwhelming as expected.
Weirdly, LG has chosen to only fully detail the new Optimus L7, while its smaller brothers get to keep their shades of mystery for another week or two. The L7 II is due out in Russia this week, but the pricing is kept under wraps.
As for specs, there are no major surprises to note, so the L7 II is going to come with a dual-core 1 GHz CPU, a 4.3-inch WVGA IPS panel, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 768 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory, microSD support, a 2,460 mAh battery, an 8 MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing one.
The spec sheets for the other two new LG phones have a few blanks that need to be filled, but for the most part they look like only minor upgrades compared to last year’s first-gen L3 and L5.
