Released less than three months ago for $200 with two-year contracts, Verizon’s HTC Droid DNA has looked positively dreamy from day one. The world’s first Full HD smartphone is not only a pretty screen and it has a very solid overall spec sheet that includes a quad-core 1.5 GHz S4 Pro CPU, 2 GB of RAM and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
But if all that was not enough to make you fall in love with the DNA, Amazon dropped the monster phone’s price to $100 about a month ago. And now it dropped it again, to just 50 bucks.
I don’t have enough words to stress just how crazy this deal is, especially that you can get the Droid DNA for the new special price from both Amazon and Wirefly. So in case one of the retailers runs out of stock, you still have a backup. Crazy, I tell you.
Granted, the deal has the usual strings attached, so you’ll need to pen a new carrier agreement with Big Red (minor inconvenience if you ask me). Not to mention you can also get the DNA for $50 if you add a line to an existing family account, while the $100 price for upgrades is certainly not prohibitive either.
