It’s rare to see Apple discount their products. And when it happens, its usually to help clear their shelves for soon-released new models. But without any products expected to launch, the ‘big’ Apple has announced a subsidized price of their 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display.
No longer $1,700, the powerful portable will now be cooked up for $1,500. This model packs a 2.5GHz dual-core processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of flash storage.
It’s beefier model, featuring a 2.6GHz processor and 256GB flash storage is now available for $1,700. Not bad. Now Apple laptops are somewhat more affordable.
The MacBook Air with 256GB hard drive is now starting at $1,400, if you’re interested more in super light electronics.
The 15-inchers are seeing some changes as well. The $2,200 model is now going to power a 2.4GHz i7 chip and the $2,800 version will have a 2.7GHz i7 processor and 16GB of RAM.
So there you have it, Apple becomes more budget-friendly. Sort of.
