Unlike Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Note and the Galaxy Note II, the Galaxy S IV will not include an S-Pen. Despite previous rumors of the Samsung stylus to be included in the upcoming flagship smartphone, Korean newspaper DDaily.co.kr is claiming otherwise.
It seems that the rumored touch-less capability expected on the S IV was at first mistaken for S-Pen functionality.
In an article published on their website, a leaked product image shows the Galaxy S IV equipped with a central ‘home’ button, a ‘return’ button to the right and a ‘menu’ button to the left of ‘home.’ This layout is derivative of Samsung’s Galaxy S III.
The smartphones are expected to roll out mid-March and available by the end of the same month. The Galaxy S IV is currently in mass production stages.
