Good ol’ Yahoo is tidying things up in the front of house. Via the company’s blog Wednesday morning, Yahoo users will soon be treated to an updated newsfeed and social media-heavy welcome screen.
Collating news stories from the web based on an individual user’s interests and location, Yahoo’s infinite scrolling newsfeed will be made more customizable and personal. The updated service can also optionally include a user’s Facebook newsfeed on display, by allowing them to log in to Yahoo with their Facebook ID.
The new homepage is phone and tablet friendly and the change as a whole will begin rolling out on all platforms in the U.S., over the next few days.
