Who here thought ZTE can’t possibly capture the spotlight at MWC after being one of the stars of last month’s CES? Yeah, us too and yet we’ve all been proven wrong. Not that we mind… this time.
The Grand Memo is the company’s latest “bomb,” and while it’s not as “atomic” as the Grand S, it can definitely make some noise if detonated. The thing sports a gigantic 5.7-inch display, which unfortunately only boasts a 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution.
The measly pixel density is one of the only lows of Grand Memo’s spec sheet, with highs including a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, 13 MP rear-facing camera, 3,200 mAh battery, DLNA support and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The 1 GB of RAM, 1 MP front-facing cam and 16 GB of internal memory are, in lack of a better word, just “meh”. That means, all in all, the ZTE Grand Memo falls short of perfection, but it’s still one of the best “phablets” unveiled lately.
Due out in March in China and parts of Europe a month later, the big guy is expected to be decently priced, even though specifics are unknown at this point.
