You’ve probably had enough unveilings of LG smartphones lately to last you… a year, but if you’re up for a new Optimus family member here it is – the Optimus LTE 3. This one is the follow-up to last year’s LTE 2 (duh!) and is most likely scheduled to land in Korea and only in Korea sometime in the summer.
We can’t tell you how frustrated we are because of LG’s hectic branding and crazy brand diluting, but what can you do? The thing is, this lame excuse of an upgrade is bringing only a couple of changes compared with the not so old LTE 2.
As far as we know, the display will sport the same 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution, while the processor will be an identical dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 unit. So, where are the bumps? Well, the LTE 3 is said to come with on-board Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and to pack a slightly larger 2,540 mAh battery.
And that’s it? Yep, at least so far. Not cool, LG, not cool at all!
