At this point, Huawei is somewhat innocuous in the U.S. smartphone market, though the Chinese phone manufacturer is working it’s way deeper into the mainstream. Their smartphones are limited to small wireless carriers and few models have been made available in West yet. Along with their much-anticipated Ascend P2, a few lower-tiered phones are slated to reach the U.S. and images of them have leaked and been tipped to @evleaks.

Huawei Ascend G710

Firstly, the Ascend Plus. Little information is available about this other than what was written alongside the photo in 160 character or less. The phone is allegedly coming to Tracfone with a 1.0GHz processor, 4-inch display, 4GB storage and microSD slot, a 5-megapixel camera and Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

Next we have another tipped image and limited specification info for the Ascend G710. The details say that the 5-inch 720p display is powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz processor. That’s all. We suspect it’ll run Android ICS as well but it’s hard to speculate.

We’ll keep our ears open and you can expect some updated information as the rumors trickle in.
