This week, VIZIO announced that it has won a total of seven Stevie Awards; two gold, one silver, four bronze, and a ‘Top 10 Award’ for best body of work in the seventh annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
In addition to being ranked “Highest in Customer Satisfaction with HDTVs” by J.D. Power and Associates and an A+ Better Business Bureau rating, VIZIO added to their customer service accolades with their 12th Stevie Award, one of the highest honors for exceeding customer service expectations in the consumer electronics industry.
The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service recognize the achievements of sales, business development, customer service, and call/contact center professionals worldwide. Over 1,000 entries were submitted for this year’s awards from prestigious companies in various industries. The international competition included companies from Canada, UK, Mexico, Panama, India, and others.
A new addition to this year’s Stevie Awards is the ‘The Top 10 Awards,’ ten best-of-competition prizes that were awarded to the organizations that submitted the best body of work to the competition. The winners of the Stevie Awards were honored during a gala banquet on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. More than 300 nominated customer service and sales executives from the U.S.A. and several other countries attended.
More than 1,100 entries from organizations in various industries were submitted to this year’s competition, an increase of 10% over 2012. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 120 professionals worldwide. Entries were considered in 30 categories for customer service professionals, including Contact Center of the Year, Award for Innovation in Customer Service, and Customer Service Department of the Year; 41 categories for sales professionals; and additional categories to recognize new products and services as well as solution providers.
