Just under a month after BlackBerry launched their flagship Z10 smartphone, they’ve released the first software update for their likewise-fresh BB10 operating system this week. The most noteworthy changes to the new version, 10.0.10.85, is said to be an improvement of overall performance of third-party applications and improved low-light capabilities for the Z10’s 8-MP rear-facing camera.
The update also increased Gmail calendar compatibility, smoother video playback off of the BB web browser and the company noted that Z10 users should see an increase in battery life. The rather hefty update is further detailed on BlackBerry’s blog, seen here and boasts over 60 improvements.
Z10 users can access the software update by scouring the settings menu on their phone.
