With BlackBerry shy to mention specifics about the Z10 and Q10 US releases, the sky has been the limit lately when dealing with rumors. We’ve heard several stories of the launch dates on Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T, and, while we’re yet to confirm the existing speculations, one thing has become crystal clear.
Sprint has no plans to release the BlackBerry Z10. Ever. I repeat, the nation’s number three carrier is to not sell one of the hottest smartphones around. Sounds like a disastrous marketing move, but apparently Sprint trusts the Q10 more.
It’s not like we didn’t see this coming. After all, AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile have had dedicated Z10 notification pages on their websites for a while, while Sprint has nothing. And yet, why, oh why would you do such a thing?
Especially with the Z10 looking like the more attractive member of the new BB family. Not to mention the Q10 is expected to land in May, while the Z10 is to be released in a couple of weeks. What is Sprint thinking?
