Hardly ten days before Samsung is expected to launch their new Galaxy S4 in New York City, a photo leak has surfaced via @evleaks of a strange model that’s listed as the S4. As you can see in the photo, this design is quite different than what we’ve all been expecting.
This version of the Galaxy most apparently features a wider, fatter screen and wait a second — where’s the home key? Or any buttons for that matter? This digital rendering is pictured alongside the Galaxy S III, looking much bigger than the expected 4.99-inch screen versus the S III’s 4.8-inch display.
The specs listed aren’t fishy, however. Jelly Bean 4.2 checks out, the storage capacity options (furthering the 64GB hard drive rumor) and dedicated RAM does too. We expected a 13-MP camera and the AMOLED full-HD screen, so eyebrows raised there.
What do you think? Is this the new Galaxy and we’ve been expecting something totally different? Is Samsung having a laugh with us? That would be cruel. Well, I guess we’ll have to wait to March 14 to see the truth.
