Time Warner Cable has released many applications for various platforms to stream TV on your favorite device. The company has now released their Roku-enabled application which enables users to access up to 300 different channels.

One hindrance however, is that Roku requires a connection to your TV and an internet connection. Granted, Roku’s set-top box can run off of Wi-Fi or Ethernet, though we’ve seen better quality whilst hard-wired into the set-top box.

We have seen other programs on Samsung and Panasonic TVs that allow users to access their cable provider’s programs on the internet. Also, even Xbox features Comcast’s app and other cable providers give users one more method to watch their favorite TV shows. Roku consoles start at $49.
