For parents, private social networks like Path are the perfect avenues for sharing as many photos of our children as we’d like to, without the backlash. I particularly enjoy Path not only for it’s clean design but that it also allows you to share more than just photos, like music and books to name a few. Path has added a couple of fun new updates to the app including private messaging, premium photo filters and stickers.
Path 3.0 Updates
The Shop offers 9 stickers to add a bit of flare to your messages. Think advanced emoticons. My favorite is Pepper (pictured below) simply because he loves Sinatra. There are two free stickers and the others are available for $1.99
There are 4 premium photo filters for $0.99 each which you can pay with Google Wallet. My favorite is the Woodstock filter (pictured below) as it gives your uploaded photos a vintage look.
The private messaging feature makes your private network even more private. Essentially you can use this as a texting or voice messaging service to communicate with friends and family. I would love to use this specifically with a babysitter or with family at a distance to share photos of my son while I’m away.
