It looks like a toy, but it isn’t. Or at least its makers are never, ever going to admit it is. It’s the 32-gram Willcom Phone Strap 2, the world’s smallest and lightest phone. By a mile, if I may add.
This little guy doesn’t only fit in your pocket, but it probably fits in your wallet too. You know, in that compartment where you usually keep your coins, for instance. Not that we’d recommend you to store it in there. As a matter of fact, we don’t see why you’d ever buy this thingy, but that’s another discussion.
Let’s talk specs, shall we? Or, you know, what Willcom calls specs and we could very well call… nothing. The Phone Strap 2 comes with a 1-inch display (no, really,) text-based email support, an on-board infrared sensor and a battery with enough juice to last you a whole 2 hours of continuous talk time.
As for exact dimensions, these are 32 x 70 x 10.7 mm, which means this little guy is actually kind of thick. No words on pricing just yet, but we do know there’ll be only 12,000 units manufactured in pink, white and black. Out of which Willcom can probably hope to sell 2 or 3. Dozens, not thousand
