LG Optimus G Begins Seeing Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 Update

Thanks to the @Sprint Twitter feed, LG Optimus G users will be having a happy Friday. A tweet, embedded below mentions LG’s Optimus G smartphone receiving an Android Jelly Bean update, which is 4.1.2 and ‘other improvements.’

The new Google-heavy version of the OS includes the Google Now app, Chrome replaces the default Android browser and the voice search has been improved. Also, after receiving the OTA update, users will then see a new camera app.
