Samsung Galaxy S3 for Verizon Jelly Bean 4.1.2 Update

The latest version of Jelly Bean for the Samsung Galaxy S3 is now available. Some small but great features to the newest version include:

  • Improved keyboard predictive text
  • Users can take pictures during a call
  • Lock screen stock ticker now has a manual refresh button
  • Improved e-mail syncing
  • Improved Bluetooth performance

To download the update, go to Settings, tap About phone, then Software update, then Check New.

The estimated download time for the update is about 5-7 minutes. I downloaded it and it seemed like even less time than that. My favorite part of the update is being able to take photos while on a call. I can send photos of what I need my husband to pick up from the grocery store without having to hang up and wait.
