Remember that “Facebook Phone” Mark Zuckerberg so passionately denied every time he got a chance in the past year or so? Well, as it turns out, it might well be real. At least according to @evleaks, which we know as a pretty trustworthy tipster.
The handheld is known “internally” at this time as the HTC Myst or Myst_UL. Everything about release and pricing is hazy, but what we do have is a full spec sheet. Unfortunately, there’s nothing truly outstanding about Myst’s list of features, so it’s almost as if we’d rather the rumor be untrue.
Let’s take them one by one, shall we? Dual-core 1.5 GHz MSM8960 processor? That’s so last year. 4.3-inch display with 720p resolution? Run-of-the-mill and nothing more. 1 GB of RAM? Decent, but fairly average as well.
5 MP rear-facing camera, 1.6 MP secondary snapper, 16 GB of on-board storage – mediocre, mediocre and mediocre. No microSD? Terrible. The running of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and the 4G LTE speeds could help the Myst save face a little, but they’re far too little to make us the least bit excited about the device. Am I right or am I right?
