Coming off of their huge One unveiling, HTC is keeping the hype buzzing before their flagship is made available. Thursday evening, the HTC YouTube account had one additional video published; one that features some of the One’s designers explaining and demonstrating how they crafted such a beautiful handheld.
Check out creative director Daniel Hundt and senior director of manufacturing design Jethro Liou provide a run-down of why the One appears as it does and watch the machines sculpt the phone casing:
Expected out March 15, the One will compete against the likes of iPhone, Samsung’s Galaxy S IV, Sony’s Xperia Z, LG’s Optimus G Pro and Huawei’s Ascend P2 in dominating the premium flagship phone market. HTC’s One received the MWC ‘Best in Show’ and from day one has been solicited as the ‘breakthrough’ phone (similar to the Galaxy S IV being the ‘next big thing,’) so later this month we’ll see exactly how it plays out.
