Marvel is Giving Away 700 Comics Through Comixology

How would you like 700 comics for free? You’re in luck because that’s exactly what Marvel is doing through ComiXology from now until March 12. The 700 issues are comprised of #1 issues (in chronological order) of several series. Even if you’re not a big fan of comics, it’s worth looking through Marvel’s offerings because there’s bound to be something there that catches your eye.

You would think downloading all these comics would be easy, but it has turned out to be a difficult experience. ComiXology is being hammered right now. The desktop website is having trouble loading. Attempts to access it will likely result in a server error. I’ve also had problems with the ComiXology Android app as well. More often than not, the app cannot connect to the internet. When I did attempt to download a comic it would only reach 6% before an error would occur. I’m also having a hard time logging in to my account. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be able to get the 700 comics.
