According to an article posted on Wednesday by CNET, Twitter is supposedly working on their own music application and it has potential to be made available by the end of this month.

First acquiring the free music streaming app We Are Hunted last year, Twitter Music will use the same technology, creating a standalone music discovery and sharing resource, using a direct link to SoundCloud.

Thus far, there are little concrete facts about Twitter Music, other than it maintaining Twitter’s hallmark simplistic design, featuring three navigation tabs. The Twitter Music app’s “Suggested” tab will display music recommendations to you. It’s “#NowPlaying” tab will present users with songs posted by people who are displayed in their news feed. The “Popular” tab is pretty obviously whats most trending across the entire Twitter network and it’s “Emerging” tab features new artists who are potentially on the verge of breaking into the mainstream.

Further news will most assuredly hit in the near future. As always, we’ll keep you posted.
