There isn’t anything or anyone who can crash Samsung’s grand Galaxy S4 launch party, scheduled for a few hours from now in New York, but that can’t stop the competition from trying. And while LG’s gloves are off, BlackBerry is keeping it simple and elegant by announcing Z10’s availability details on yet another major US carrier.
Verizon is already accepting pre-orders from customers in a rush, although you’ll all have to wait until March 28 to get your grubby hands on probably the best BlackBerry ever. The price is no shocker, being the same as on AT&T – $199.99 with two-year agreements for both the black and white versions.
Then again, Ma Bell definitely has the upper hand against Big Red, scheduling the shipping start for March 22. Meanwhile, there’s nothing new on the T-Mobile front, with Magenta still listing the Z10 as “coming soon” with “price not yet available” on its official website.
We’re hearing the fourth largest carrier in the States might sell the brand new 4.2-incher for $250 with contracts, which doesn’t really make sense. Then again, it’s T-Mo we’re talking about and they’ve made a habit of making the wrong decisions under pressure.
