American carriers have certainly taken their sweet time testing out the BlackBerry Z10 before making it available, but D-Day is now (almost) here. Or rather the D-Days, because AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile have each picked a different release date.
Ma Bell will be the first to ship Z10s out, starting tomorrow, after pre-orders have been live for a while now. Verizon slated the release for March 28 (exactly one week from today) and also opened up pre-orders early.
Meanwhile, T-Mobile delayed the official announcement until today, but it will still undercut Big Red by two days, making BB’s new flagship available on March 26. The news comes from Twitter and is as official as it is rock solid, meaning rumors from way back missed the mark by a mere 24 hours.
Oddly though, T-Mo is still not accepting pre-orders from eager customers, with the same old registration page live on the carrier’s website. Anyhoo, March 26 is shaping up to be a big, big day for the nation’s number four wireless provider, as its 4G LTE network will also be officially lit up come next Tuesday.
