Here’s a rumor that’ll really catch your eye. Samsung blog SamMobile reports on Friday that there’s a chance we’ll see a Super AMOLED Full-HD Galaxy Tab follow-up to their Galaxy Tab 7.7 by the end of this year.
A new top-tier Samsung tablet is right now speculated to measure 10.1-inches or 11.6-inches. Perhaps a bit random on the size options but if this is true, it’ll most likely be the most brilliantly displayed big-screen handheld on the market. Samsung would then appear to be gunning for Apple iPad and in the Android world, Sony’s Xperia Tablet Z.
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 7.7 with a Super AMOLED Plus display has been out for about two years now and this new generation would potentially roll in the company’s Galaxy Tab 3 Plus line.
For those a bit confused about what this AMOLED business is all about, allow me to refer you to a helpful article that can do a much better job at explaining the technology than I can.
