Prior to Samsung unveiling it’s flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone last week, it was known by company insiders as ‘Project J.’ As rumors and leaks led up to the event, there were simultaneous talks about the project entailing more than just the S4 — something not uncommon for the company to do. It seems especially true now that our trusted SamMobile blog has published reader-submitted photos of what appears to be the company’s S4 Mini.
Specs are rocky but from that ‘About this device’ photo, we can see it’s running on Android 4.2.2 with a 256ppi Super AMOLED qHD display at 4.3-inches. It packs a 1.6GHz dual-core processor and it’s software is based on TW Nature UX. The S4 mini is said to be made available in a single and dual-SIM card variants and is expected this summer — roughly June/July.
