Evernote Smart Notebook

Since Google Keep’s recent release, it’s provided a steep competition with Evernote for the attention of users. Evernote just released a major update to its Android app with more visual and search features. You can now view your most recent notes feed visually, with image thumbnails.

“Our team is always striving to create the best Evernote experience possible, while supporting the design aesthetics and expectations of the platform,” said Evernote’s Andrew Sinkov in a blog post.

You can also take multi-shots in the Camera Mode, and save them as a note. You can also take sharp photos of documents, and save them just as if you were doing a scan-to-e-mail.

Evernote also partnered up with Moleskine to design a Smart Notebook, which is chock full of cool features such as Dots for photo editing and smart stickers. You can purchase the small notebook for $25 and the large one for $30. Check out the video below to see how it works.

There are a few shortcuts in the app, making it convenient to access notes, notebooks and tags that you access frequently.

Premium Evernote users now access to more sophisticated search results, allowing you to find documents created in Microsoft Word, iWorks and PDFs.
