There’s but little doubt the Nokia Lumia 928 is real and coming soon our way, but, despite the high-end phone being in the rumor mill for months now, the specifics on its looks and specs remain very light. Actually, scratch that, as the first important pieces of the puzzle are finally falling into place, courtesy of serial leaker @evleaks on Twitter.
The always well-informed Twitter user has posted a high-quality press shot of the Lumia 928, and, while its legitimacy hasn’t been confirmed by anyone yet, it does look trustworthy. The black model for Verizon is pictured and, as expected, the beast will come with Windows Phone 8, 4G LTE speeds and a PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics, among others.
The phone’s profile is carefully hidden in the image, while the back looks like it could be slightly curved. Rumor has it the display will be 4.5 inches in diagonal (possibly with 720p resolution). Other sources are telling us the Lumia 928 will measure 11.2 mm in depth at its thickest point and 10.2 mm at its thinnest, which is far from ideal, but, we’re guessing, it could allow for the packing of a massive battery (at least 2,000 mAh).
All the rest is in a haze, but we’re pretty certain the phone will be official in around a month. Anyone psyched about it already?
