Ladies and gentlemen, it’s finally here! Though it seems like years have passed since HTC announced their new flagship One, the top-tier smartphone will begin hitting the streets of America on Friday, covered under AT&T and T-Mobile networks (and it was really only two months.)
Likewise announced this morning, HTC has enlisted help from the top consumer electronics retail stores and web stores to distribute the One: Best Buy, Radio Shack, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, Costco, Car Toys, HSN.com, Amazon.com and HTC.com.
AT&T will have the models available in 32GB and 64GB flavors but only in Glacier Silver. However, in ‘the near future,’ they’ll begin offering One in black — but only with a 32GB hard drive.
Some more confusion: T-Mobile will have One in only it’s 32GB flavor in Glacier Silver, but they’ll also give you a car dock while supplies last. There’s no word on which color or storage options will be made available from the aforementioned retailers but we’re expecting announcements from each in the next few days.
AT&T customers can get their’s for $199.99 or $299.99 with a two-year contract. To get one on T-Mobile, you’ll be paying a $99.99 downpayment and two years of $20 per months.
We’re excited to see the One come out. Anyone else particularly amped for the Beats Audio sound-pumpin’, ultra pixel shootin’, silver bullet with Wi-Fi?
