Rolling out just as planned, set forth by one of the biggest consumer electronics retailers and one of the biggest, if not the biggest manufacturer of consumer electronics in the world, Samsung will begin ‘setting up shop’ in Best Buy locations nationwide on Thursday.
First stop: Union Square in New York City. Today, the micro-shop opening will be rung in with an exclusive Bruno Mars concert, limited to the first 300 patrons. Also, the event will commemorate the arrival of Samsung’s Galaxy S4 flagship phone. Those in attendance will be “among the first to see and demo the Galaxy S4 through interactive stations just hours before it goes on sale nationwide.”
They’re talking pre-orders. The S4 will actually hit Best Buy locations — excuse me, Samsung Experience Shops on Saturday, April 27.
Samsung mini-stores or Samsung Experience Shops, as they’re officially known, will begin popping up in over 1,400 Best Buy retail stores from today, April 25 and “across the U.S. by early summer.” And based on the companies’ prediction of late-April to begin the roll-out, we’re thinking the time frame will also be on point.
