Itching for a new gadget to support on Kickstarter? Of course you are, especially since this one goes above and beyond of what’s available on the market right now.

The Vertus is a system of not one but two specialized Bluetooth receivers that are meant to plug into speakers. One receiver is for the right speaker, the other the left. Pair it to your Bluetooth device and all of a sudden you’re enjoying full-stereo sound coming from two separate speakers. And those speakers may not have even had Bluetooth in the first place!

Vertus Charging StationThe Vertus measures approximately 1 inch by 1 1/4 inches at less than 1/2 inch thick, and is constructed from aluminum. Despite the thin design, the battery can last up to 10 hours.

The device uses multiple taps to show battery level and to pair it through Bluetooth. Each half charges by plugging the 3.5 mm jack into the supplied charging station, which is powered by a Micro USB cable.

You can’t find this kind of power at this size for this price. Each Vertus piece can be used individually to bring Bluetooth functionality to a single speaker as well. In fact, the Vertus Kickstarter campaign just posted a new $49 pledge for just one receiver and the charging station. You can always choose to purchase the other half at a later point.

Their project still needs some more funding to go, so visit their page and support!

Vertus Audio sucks. I ordered a bluetooth receiver, never got it, and after 5 emails, still no response from them. Save you money and spend it with some one reputable.
