The savings are naturally not massive, but given the phone is available for mere days in the US it’s something. Specifically, Amazon, everybody’s go-to online retailer, has shaven 32 bucks off the on-contract pricing with AT&T and $50 for upgrading Sprint customers.
That means you now only have to cough up $168 for Ma Bell’s 16 GB GS4 in white or black and $200 for the same two Sprint versions if you choose to upgrade. Meanwhile, new Sprint customers can still get the thing for $149.99 with two-year contracts, which is probably the best deal you can find for the phone in all America.
Beware though that the “next big thing” is currently backordered with Amazon, so shipping is to take between 2 and 4 weeks. That’s a lot to wait for, we know, but it could be worse. You could be forced to wait for Verizon to release the GS4, which will likely only happen in the last days of May.
Finally, you could also set your sights on T-Mobile’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S4, available for a down payment of $150, plus 24 monthly payments of $20 with no required contract. Decisions, decisions…
